All India Institute of Medical Sciences is an Institute of Excellence was set-up under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY) scheme of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. AIIMS Mangalagiri has a Central Library, it has aimed to provide all the library services intended to the Faculty and Students at an optimum level of satisfaction. The Central Library is equipped with modern facilities, rich collection of electronic resources are e-journals, e-books along with collection of Printed medical books and General Books.

The Central Library of AIIMS Mangalagiri successfully Installed and implemented library Management system of Koha software along with RFID Technology. The Central Library all services provide through User Smart ID Card.
